OK... so I finally got my little Etsy shop up and running.  Currently I only have a few boxes for sale but I am open for business and I will be adding more soon.  Check it out!

Next on my list of things to do... clean up and organize my studio.

boxes, boxes, boxes

I started making boxes in graduate school while pursuing an MFA in Book and Paper Arts. I fell in love with the simple shape and clean lines of the box. The process of constructing them, the persnickety attention to detail, the bench skills required and the endless aesthetic and functional possibilities had me hooked.  

My boxes are constructed from binders board and covered in a variety of papers and bookcloths. Each box is a one-of-a-kind original and although there might be similarities, no two boxes are exactly alike.
